Skunk Corydoras (Corydoras arcuatus) get their name from the black stripes that go over the eyes and down their back splitting at the caudal fin. Skunk Corydoras are native to the Rio Negro River in Brazil. In the aquarium they are best suited for planted tanks with sand substrate. It's important to make sure you specifically feed your Corydoras. While they are scavengers, they will not survive on just left over uneaten food. They are omnivore and will accept most pellets but also love live and frozen food.
