Corydoras pygmaeus are peaceful small catfish. The small size of the Pygmy Cory should be taken into consideration when choosing tank mates. They do best in schools of 6 or more. Prefers dim lighting and loves planted aquariums. They prefer a softer substrate. Rough or sharp gravel should be avoided.
