Garra flavatra are generally peaceful with one another and other fish. They max out at 3 inches. In the wild, they come from fast flowing, well oxygenated streams. While an effective algae eater and scavenger, it's important to not restrict its diet. An omnivore in the wild, it will appreciate anything from algae pellets, to live/frozen foods.
