The Japanese Trapdoor Snail is an unusual looking freshwater snail. Its shell grows into a spiral and each one looks unique. They are great for controlling algae and consuming left over uneaten fish food. They are peaceful towards other invertebrates and fish. Adults can reach sizes up to 2 inches.
